PERSONAL* My Outfit.. Black/Nude combo

hilst flipping trough Iphoto I came across these unpublished My Outfit pictures from some while ago and it struck me again how much I love the black/nude combo. Best worn by people with a tanned skin tone, it gives you a sophisticated look and can be less predictable than the black/white duo. Note to myself; must wear more black/nude combinations..

ad to style a beautiful lady today for a party she's giving this weekend
I'm sure she will be the star of the evening shining with her black bustier dress, silver pumps and Chanel-lish necklace.
After that I had to go to Wavre for a Xandres session.
And after that, well then I stood in traffic for over 4 hours. You can call me Lady Gaga now..

PERSONAL* Milan part 2

o I went to Milan for a short period and it was great to be back.
Two years ago I stayed for over 3 months, so I know the city quite well which is of course a huge advantage in a big, crowded & hectic place like Milan.

My personal shopping recommendations;

* Mercato di Viale Papinanio on saturdays
Next to the fake sunglasses and bags, you'll find some stands with amazing vintage stuff and stocks from beautiful brands. Of course there's some searching involved, but believe me, there are some real treasures to find for no money.

* If you're interested in the top brands but you're budget doesn't reach that high, then I have good news for you. Visit DMagzine Outlet at Via Montenapoleone 26 & Via Forcella 13.
They offer the most beautiful stuff from brands like Chloé, Christian Dior, Jil Sander, Marc Jacobs, etc..
All the garments are from previous collections and are for a third of the price!
But don't get all too excited (like I did in the beginning) a third from an exuberant number is still a lot of money (like I noticed in the end). But it's worth the visit, that's for sure.

EMMA TO BUSINESS* LouisLouise starring EMMA

it is het bewuste stukje waar ik even meespeel in LouisLouise, de telenovela op VTM. Het blijft toch raar mezelf te zien en horen (of beter gezegd fluisteren!) op het scherm. Maar het was een leuke ervaring en ik zou het zeker niet erg vinden dit nog te doen.

Even ter verduidelijking; Natalie (Eline Demuynck) heb ik niet echt gestyled, al had ik dat wel graag gedaan ;-) en ook de kledij aan het rek was niet meteen mijn keuze. De handtassen daarentegen zijn wel naar mijn smaak. Ze komen dan ook uit mijn eigen garderobe :-)

I
have this weird habit when I'm stressed to close my eyes and create imaginary ensembles. In fact, it's my favorite thing to do at night (next to waking up the boyfriend informing him that I can't sleep :-) ) when too many things are running through my mind. Somehow it changes my focus and reliefs the stress in minutes.
So if you'd ask me when I create the majority of my outfits, the answer would be;
at night, around 3 am!
