*Speechless*

The belt makes the total look
Note to myself: must find that studded belt somewhere hiding in my dressing

I have never seen Paris as a style-icon
but you gotta give the girl (or her stylist) credit for this outfit

Kate Moss & Topshop Christmass 08 Collection

Now this is a collection I would stand in line for!
It's already the 5th time that Topshop and Kate Moss have designed together. Sadly for us little Belgians, there is no Topshop here nor do they ship to our country.
On the official Topshop website, you'll find the full collection, just to make the longing even stronger (I'm cruel, I know!)

H&M/CDG

On the official H&M site, you'll find a clear preview of the Comme Des Garcons collaboration.
Still not very excited. Too many pieces are really ugly and just unwearable**.
I really do support the non-mainstream look, but not when it reminds me of a cliniclown.
Nevertheless, a few pieces have caught my eye and could end up in my closet.

1* The hat
2* The ballerina dress
3* The pencil skirt
4* The versatile jacket (see pic 4 & 5) I love it when you can wear clothes differently. It gives you some much more options.

So, these are the pieces I would stand in line for.
But as we all know with H&M, pictures say nothing. I must see & feel it, and then we'll talk!

** When an outfit even looks questionable on a 5.9 ft, 118pounds model, you know nobody can pull it of, meaning it's unwearable.

The Importance of a Blazer

Ask me for my favorite wardrobe garment and I will tell you: the blazer.
Easy to combine, it gives you an instant chic look.
Ideal for those days when the inspiration level is on its lowest.
Don't know what to wear?
I assure you, you'll look wonderful with a simple jeans, t-shirt and a blazer.

MyOutfit: Paris, Ma Belle

If my boyfriend wouldn't drag me from behind my laptop from time to time, I'd never stop working.
So he came up with someting I couldn't refuse: a daytrip to Paris.
Beside from drinking champagne on the highest level of The Eiffeltower having the most spectacular view over The Light City (sometimes you deserve to act decadent), I also did some quite amazing shopping.
First I bought a wonderful pink cashmere scarf and some Minnetonka's look-a-likes (same quality, a fifth from the original price) at ParisPuces.com.
And then (and this really is an insider's secret):
At Avenue General Leclerc, 44 (14ième arrondissement) you'll find a litte store with no logo's or name or anyting.
The clothes are hung on cheap recks and even the labels on the clothes are partially cut out.
But if you look closer, you'll see that the clothes are well made and you recognize the collections from 'Maje'.
Mes achats: 2 dresses (black and blue) and the white cardigan I'm wearing on the pics. All for a fraction of the original price.

Cardigan: Maje
Dress: Tara Jarmon
Boots: Friis & Compagnie
(I've been wearing these shoes a lot lately,
but as they are so comfy,
It's hard not to chose them every morning)

MyOutfit: Inspired by fall

Beige & camel are definitely not my favorite colours.
They make me feel dull and above that, they wash me out completely.
Probably inspired by fall, I 'found' this camel dress in my closet this morning and took the challenge to make it work.
Combined with black, the contrast makes it somewhat more interesting.
But still, I prefered this dress to be in a light grey or blue or purple or green or anything more lively than beige.

MyOutfit: Glitter Pants

TRANSLATION:
As promised the pictures are now taken outside to show more detail.
Still not convinced though.
My silver glitter pants just look like any other white model.
Maybe I just should read the camera manual once!

She Got Style.. Jennifer Hudson on the Red Carpet

Do it yourself:

MyOutfit: Little fur for a little party

Besides being famous for its dazzling chocolate, Belgium is also well known for its bad weather. Therefore I'm forced to take my pictures inside, with the result of losing half the details on the clothes due to the lack of light.
Sadly, 'cause as I am wearing a lot of black silhouettes, details are the key.
So I tried to enhance the quality, but that didn't work out too good, leaving a grey blur.
Tornado or not, my next outfit pics will be taken outside!
